An AirAsia flight from Kochi to Bangalore had to return a few minutes after the take-off as it suffered a hydraulics failure. The flight was carrying more than 170 passengers. Take note of the details of this technical failure incident in the flight.

Just minutes after take-off from Cochin International Airport, an AirAsia flight bound for Bangalore with 168 passengers and six crew members made a quick return. The flight from Kochi departed for Bangalore late on Sunday night but encountered a mechanical issue shortly after takeoff at 11.15 pm.

After the aeroplane was forced to return to Kochi owing to what was likely a hydraulic malfunction, a major emergency was declared at the airport. At midnight, it successfully touched down at the airport. The reports state there were no casualties or injuries. The moment the aircraft touched down safely, the incident was declared over.

Technical Glitches In Flights

Earlier, an Air Malta flight from Geneva to Malta was forced to make two separate emergency landings shortly after takeoff because of unspecified technical difficulties. The mishaps have sparked questions about fleet maintenance and aviation safety.

Another incident recorded an aeroplane technical issue mid-flight on a flight from Azerbaijan to Delhi that caused panic among the passengers. The 190-passenger aircraft with a destination of Delhi was still for more than two hours over the ocean. The plane spent several hours hovering over the water as well. Additionally, a video of terrified passengers wearing oxygen masks also surfaced on the Internet

A similar incident took place with two IndiGo flights. Within 24 hours, two planes operated by the Indian low-cost airline IndiGo were required to divert and make emergency landings. The two IndiGo aircraft had technical problems.

The occurrence took place on August 5, 2023. The flight crew of the airline’s Airbus A321neo aircraft, registered as VT-IUB, indicated that there was a technical issue and the aircraft had to divert back to Delhi as it was flying from Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to Ranchi Birsa Munda Airport (IXR).

On August 4, 2023, the IndiGo Airbus was intended to fly between Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) and Patna Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport (PAT).

However, three minutes into the flight, the pilot reported that there was a problem with one of the engines.
