And keeping true to this idea, the Municipality & Planning Development in Ajman has announced that the first phase of the Al Ittihad Street Development project is now complete. It was recently announced by the Municipality & Planning Development in Ajman on Instagram that the first phase of the Al Ittihad Street Development Project now stands complete. This means that it has been opened to the public on July 9, Sunday. So, it should be noted that this project began in July of 2022 and also includes the construction of a bridge on Al Ittihad Street. According to a report by Gulf News, it also comprises three lanes for vehicles moving towards the Sheikh Khalifa intersection that are coming from Dubai. As it happens, these roads have also been installed with traffic lights at the intersection of Al Ittihad and Kuwait Streets under the bridges, along with a bridge for drivers coming from Al Hassan Bin Al Haitham Street moving towards Sharjah leaving from Ajman Industrial Area.

It Will Reduce The Trip time By 50%
This is brilliant as the department has created five lanes that have been built in accordance of the volume of vehicles plying on the street. With the completion of this phase of the project, the street can now accommodate 16,000 vehicles per hour while also reducing the trip time by a whopping 50 per cent. Earlier, it was predicted that the project will be completed by the end of 2023, however, this has been done ahead of its scheduled time. So with the completion of this phase of the project, drivers of vehicles can be assured that there will be a smoother movement of traffic on this street. It should be noted that further work on this project will continue and with its completion, it will help in improving the entrance to the emirate that is being developed in the Al Tallah area on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street.
