The UAE is going all out in its preparation for Ramadan. With the holy month here, there are many events, including cultural and heritage programmes, taking place across the nation. And the city of Al Ain is also experiencing a vibrant celebration this year. 30 Days Of Heritage Markets And More In Al Ain
It’s worth mentioning that the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi has launched a month-long calendar. This calendar is offering activities across some of the most prominent heritage and cultural landmarks of the city. Amongst the many highlights, the traditional game championships, which are taking place at Al Jahili Fort from March 4th to 8th, are something people wouldn’t want to miss.
Many Competitions Planned For Al Ain

A Gulf News report has mentioned how the competitions are going to be first-of-their-kind in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Their aim is to strengthen the connection between younger generations and Emirati traditions. Moreover, teenagers, young people and girls will get to take part in an interactive contest. These have been organised in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police. Moreover, the fort is also hosting an interactive exhibition, which would include heritage crafts workshops, traditional games, and displays of traditional clothing.

Poetry Evenings, Live Music And More
With souvenir shops and Arabic Coffee corners, visitors will get to savour a variety of food and drink offerings. Moreover, at the Al Ain Museum, the Ramadan night programme is being offered for an all-round cultural experience. The schedule here includes poetry evenings, creative workshops, and live musical performances that you wouldn’t want to miss. The activities also include prayer bead-making sessions and a children’s Ramadan studio to offer something for every age group.
The fun, however, doesn’t end there! There is even a Ramadan festival that is running until March 1st at ADNEC Al Ain. Here lively space has been created for families and communities, but they can gather. The festival also features live performances, interactive children’s activities, markets and a wide selection of Ramadan cuisine. Open daily from 8 PM to 2 AM, this is something you wouldn’t want to miss.
So, with a month full of exciting activities, the events are carefully curated to ensure people have a great time during the holy month.
