And the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority is one such government organisation in Abu Dhabi that takes its job quite seriously. Known for keeping a strict eye on the food safety measures followed at restaurants, they do their work strictly. And now, recently they closed the restaurant for violating the laws in Abu Dhabi. We are talking about Al Nidham restaurant.

ADFSA Closes Al Nidham In Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority recently shut down Al Nidham restaurant in Abu Dhabi. This was done due to violation of laws in the emirate. Taking to its social media handle on Instagram, it was mentioned that the restaurant had been shut down due to the violations of laws. As it happens, the trade license number mentioned for the restaurant is CN-1038631. Coming to the violation, the post stated that law number (2) of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and its associate legislation was violated by this restaurant. As a result, the practices at the eatery posed a significant risk to the health of people.

It Was Previously Given A Warning

According to another report by Gulf Today, it was mentioned that the authority had previously given the restaurant a warning and had slapped the establishment with two fines for high-risk violations. This included an infestation of insects in the kitchen. As a result, the decision has now been taken to shut down the place after repeated violations regarding the food safety requirements.

It should be noted that the authority is known for conducting periodic inspections of all establishments. Ensuring clients adhere to food safety standards and the authority also encourages the public to contact them, if they want to report any violation or concern.
