Highway was shot at some of the most scenic locations in India. Most of the shoot locations were offbeat yet spellbinding. Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda starrer film Highway’s story film revolves around a girl who gets kidnapped just before her wedding. As days pass, this high-class society girl starts developing a strange bond with the kidnapper, and most significantly she starts cherishing her surroundings. Alia has a dialogue in the film ‘Kaisi Kaisi Jagah hai is desh main’. It meant how beautiful and gorgeous our own nation is.

Aru Valley Is Paradise On Earth

Highway was filmed in 15 towns and cities across India. One of the destinations was Aru Valley which needs to be on your bucket list. Aru Valley is the base camp for trekking to Kolhoi Glacier and the Tarsar-Marsar lake. This valley is just 11kms away from Pahalgam. The best time to visit Aru Valley is from July to September. Basically, during that time you can enjoy some skiing too!
