Information about the Vande Bharat Express operating between Mysuru and Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Chennai Central railway station has been updated! This was the fifth Vande Bharat in the country. The train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year in November from KSR Bengaluru railway station. Here is all you need to know about the new Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express.
Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express
The Mysuru-Chennai Vande Bharat Express runs between Mysuru and Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. MGR Chennai Central railway station. It covers the distance in just 6 hours and 25 minutes. It covers a distance of 500 km in less than 7 hours and has been running at full occupancy since its inception.
According to the updated information, the express will take 10 minutes less than its previous time. The change in timing will be seen at the Katpadi Junction railway station. This new change will be effective next week, helping passengers save 10 minutes.
There is no change in the frequency of the train, and it will be operational for six days in a week as it was.
New Changes Will Be Effective From May 15
The express number 20607 will not reach Katpadi Junction railway station at 07:21am from May 15. Instead, it will reach the station at 07:13am. It will halt at the station for at least four minutes. Other express number 20608 will arrive at Katpadi railway station at 05:33pm instead of 05:46pm like earlier.
To travel in train number 20607, you will have to pay ₹2295 for executive class and ₹1200 for chair car. To travel on train number 20608 you will have to pay ₹2485 for executive class and ₹1200 for chair car.
Do note that there are no concessions for children’s fares on the Vande Bharat Express. (As per News9.Live)
