Alliance Air Will Soon Launch Flights From India To These Neighbouring Countries

Alliance Air is taking new plunges into the international aviation industry. Alliance Air flights will be scheduling its flights from Indian cities to Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal and Bangladesh. Alliance Air spoke to Moneycontrol about connecting India’s region to these neighbouring countries. The dates and timelines for launching the flights have not yet been released. However, the launch will undoubtedly boost tourism and allow Indian travellers to explore more destinations.

Alliance Air To Launch Flights To India’s Neighbouring Countries

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Alliance Air operated flights to Sri Lanka’s Jaffna. Now, the airline is only using its flights in regional destinations. These destinations are mainly Tier II and Tier III cities. Further, they are increasing their operations in these cities. The recent travel destination where the airline is operating its flight is Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh. The airline is also adding new routes for flight operations in the Northern states of India.

New Airlines To Toughen Competition

Well, with the arrival of a wide number of airline companies in the aviation industry, the growth in the travel and tourism sector will further rise. People will be able to travel and explore more. Alliance Air Chief Executive even told Moneycontrol that most airlines have the same price range regarding tickets.

The competition will come in when these airlines must figure out ways to attract more passengers to a particular airline company. Before this dynamic travel situation took over the globe, the majority of airline companies sustained huge losses, and Alliance Air too was one of them. As per the report, the company shared over 400 cr losses in the financial year 2020-21, whereas over 300 cr losses in the 2021-22 years.
