After being suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Amarnath Yatra is finally taking place this year. The Amarnath cave temple is perched at an altitude of 12,756 feet in Jammu and Kashmir’s Lidder Valley. The cave temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in South Asia. Lakhs of pilgrims visit the place every year to offer prayers to the ice lingam of Lord Shiva at the temple. Amarnath Yatra 2022 will take place between June 30 and August 11. What Are The Steps To Register For Amarnath Yatra 2022?
The registration for Amarnath Yatra 2022 started on April 11, 2022. For Amarnath Yatra 2022 registration, follow the steps below:
- Visit the official website of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
- Click on the registration link of the yatra.
- The registration for a particular date will close eight days before the date.
- Children below 13 years of age and elderly people above 75 years of age will not be allowed to register for the yatra.
- Pregnant women with more than six months of pregnancy cannot register for the yatra.
- Pilgrims need to submit Application Form and Compulsory Health Certificate.
- They need to submit four passport-sized photographs.

Can Pilgrims Adjust Yatra 2022 Fee With The Amount Paid For 2021?
Those who had applied for Amarnath Yatra 2021 and did not collect the refund yet will have to submit a new registration form for Yatra 2022. The concerned banks will adjust the new amount with the amount already paid for Yatra 2021.
