IRCTC Launches 7-Day Kedar-Badri Package Covering 5 Places At ₹36,850

India houses a plethora of pilgrimage sites. And some of the most famous ones are in Uttarakhand. The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a special ‘Do Dham Yatra’ for the year 2022. Pilgrims can visit Kedarnath and Badrinath as part of the yatra. Priced at ₹36,850 per person, the ‘Kedar-Badri Yatra’ will commence on May 20, 2022 for 6 nights and 7 days for a group of 25 people. Read on to know more about this yatra.

Day 1 & Day 2: Haridwar & Guptkashi

On Day 1, tourists will meet at the Kolkata airport and board a flight to Delhi. On reaching Delhi, they will travel to Haridwar by road and stay there for the night. The next day post breakfast, they will commute to Guptkashi and explore the gorgeous town, spending the night there.

Day 3 & Day 4: Kedarnath & Badrinath

Day 3 consists of a 20 km trek to Kedarnath from Sonprayag. They will witness Mandakini, of the main tributaries of the river Ganga. The next day, tourists will visit the renowned Kedarnath Temple and post puja will return back to Guptkashi. And then drive down to Badrinath via Joshimath.

Day 5, Day 6 & Day 7: Mana Village & Rishikesh

After a bath at the natural hot water spring, ‘Taptkunda’, pilgrims shall visit the stunning Badrinath Temple. Day 5 would also consist of local sightseeing at Mana Village, Vyas Gufa and more. Day 6 would be all about exploring Rishikesh and paying respects to the divine and Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. After visits to the temples, they will go back to Haridwar. And the next day, return back to Delhi and board a flight to Kolkata airport. Meanwhile, you can also visit Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand.
