Amitabh Bachchan Shares Travel Memories Of Mumbai Locals During Struggling Days

India’s iconic star, Amitabh Bachchan who is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati shared his memories of Mumbai local train in a recent episode. Kaun Banega Crorepati has participants from different walks of life, who grace the show with their unique stories and experiences. In one such episode, Amitabh Bachchan, while speaking to a contestant, spoke of his travel stories in Mumbai locals. It was when the superstar was struggling to find roles in Bollywood.

Mumbai Locals Experience On KBC 14

Aishwarya Ruparel sat on the hot seat in a recent episode of KBC 14 and swayed the superstar Amitabh Bachchan with her stories of travelling, meeting different people, seeing the similar faces in the Mumbai locals. Ruparel shares how she enjoyed travelling in the Mumbai locals and a different world exists in there. Her stories of daily travel were so relatable and all of us, who take the Mumbai locals would be able to narrate a similar story.

Amitabh Bachchan Speaks Of His Yesteryears In Mumbai

The contestant, went ahead to ask the Bollywood superstar if he had memories in the Mumbai locals. And clearly, someone as iconic as Amitabh Bachchan would surely have unknown tales to tell. Bachchan, immediately, recalled his struggling days in Mumbai. It was then that he would travel by the Mumbai locals. He spoke of how difficult it was to find space in the trains at that time and he would just hang by the train. On being asked if he bought anything which used to be sold on trains, he replied, ‘We did not have the money to eat back then.’

Amitabh Bachchan goes on to speak about his university bus memories which ran on the route between Delhi University and his home. He told that a family used to travel at the same time that he would in the bus. Eventually, he found a family in them.
