Amul has been crowned India’s top food brand for 2025. With a brand valuation of $4.1 billion, the Gujarat-based dairy giant reclaimed the top spot on the Brand Finance India 100 – 2025 report. Amul Crowned India’s Top Food Brand Again
Brand Finance India 100 – 2025 report by the UK-based independent consultancy valued India’s top 100 brands at $236.5 billion. While Tata Group (brand value $31.6 billion) secured its position as India’s most valuable brand, Amul emerged as India’s top food brand for 2025. The brand ranked third on the ‘Strongest Indian Brands’ list for 2025 with a BSI (Brand Strength Index) score of 91.2/100 and an AAA+ brand strength rating.
In second place, Mother Dairy, with a $1.15 billion brand value, was crowned the second-best food brand in India. Overall, Amul also secured 17th place on India’s top 100 brands list, across all categories. Meanwhile, Mother Dairy’s place rose to the 35th spot from 41st in 2024.

Top Food Brands In India For 2025, According To Brand Finance India 100
Following Amul and Mother Dairy, Britannia made it to the third place as India’s Top Food Brand For 2025. Karnataka-based dairy cooperative Nandini was placed in fourth place, while Dabur secured fifth place. As dairy brands show dominance on the list, Nandini saw an increase in brand value, going from $139 million in 2024 to $1.079 billion in 2025. The brand’s overall ranking also went from 43rd to 38th in this year’s list.
