Anand Mahindra has not shied away from sharing travel posts on social media, mesmerising netizens. The business tycoon recently shared a video of a stunning tree tunnel or trunnel. In his caption, Anand Mahindra stated that while he likes tunnels, he’d much rather travel through this kind of tunnel. The video shows a tunnel made of a canopy of tall trees, that looks so dreamy and beautiful.

Tagging Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Twitter, Mahindra asked if they could purposefully create such trunnels by planting trees on new rural roads that the government is building. Netizens shared about roads surrounded by trees on both sides that are popular in India. Social media users commented that trunnels can be seen on the road between Paunta Saheb and Dehradun and on Omkareshwar road.
