The VMRDA recently introduced VISTA, a smart ticketing app designed to make exploring the city’s top attractions easier and more seamless. What Is Visakhapatnam’s VISTA App?

The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has launched new digital applications–VISTA and TAPPALS. According to Deccan Chronicle, Visakhapatnam’s VMRDA Integrated Smart Ticketing App (VISTA) aims to streamline entry, reduce wait times, and offer a more convenient, digital-first experience for tourists, allowing them to access multiple sites with greater ease.

The apps were launched in the presence of Commissioner Tej Bharat and Chairman Pranav Gopal at the VMRDA office. Aimed at enhancing transparency and accessibility, it will enable locals as well as domestic and international tourists to seamlessly book entry tickets for parks, tourist attractions, and museums managed by the authority.

All You Need To Know About This

Currently, visitors must purchase tickets at the venue, often resulting in long queues and wait times at some of Visakhapatnam’s most popular attractions. With VISTA, tickets can now be booked anytime, from anywhere. This allows visitors to choose their preferred time slots and enjoy a smoother, hassle-free entry experience. You can simply download the app, now available on the Play Store and iOS, log in and book tickets right from your phone.

As for the TAPPALS app, it has been introduced to streamline administrative processes within the VMRDA. The Commissioner said it will improve transparency and accountability among staff. Furthermore, he encouraged the public to make effective use of these digital tools as part of modern governance.
