Anurag Kashyap is a dynamic filmmaker, so of course, he was at the Cannes Film Festival. In a recent interview with Film Companion, he revealed his top-notch recommendations. Given that French cuisine is famous worldwide for its complex and dynamic flavours, it isn’t surprising that it houses multiple restaurants that deliver flavours so eclectic that they will blow you away! So if you’re looking to have your taste buds blown away, head on down to these three French restaurants, recommended specifically by Anurag Kashyap himself.
Anurag Kashyap Recommends These Three French Restaurants
When he was asked what are the three places that everyone who is in Cannes for the first time must definitely try, he mentioned three places but only remembered the names of two of those restaurants. If you, too, strained your ears trying to decode those impossible French names, don’t worry, we have done the laborious task for you.
The first place he mentions is Le Maschou. Check out its Instagram page below: –
The second place that he mentions is La Pizza Cresci. The Instagram handle is below: –
He couldn’t remember the name of the third place. However, he described it as “There’s a lady who makes homemade soups and raclette.” And we think he is talking about the Le Troquet A Soupes. It is a homemade soup joint which also serves Raclettes and is run by a lady. Seems to check all the boxes!
