Scorching heat in Bangalore gave way to heavy rains on Tuesday, April 4. And due to heavy rains in Devanhalli, 14 flights were diverted from Kempegowda International Airport and 6 departures faced delays. Amid the thunderstorm and downpours many IT areas in the city like Whitefield, Sarjapur, Varthur and Bellandur faced clogging on roads and immense traffic. Meanwhile, India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that Bangalore will receive rainfall and thunderstorms till April 6. Be ready to stay indoors or carry raincoats and umbrellas, especially during evenings and nights as those are the times you can expect heavy rainfall in the city. Also, these rains are expected to bring down the temperatures.
