Aramghar-Zoo Park Flyover: Length To Construction Cost, All You Need To Know About The 2nd-Longest Flyover In Hyderabad

The old city area of Hyderabad will soon witness major relief in terms of traffic congestion. There are multiple roadway projects that are under construction as of now that will alleviate traffic significantly. One of the most major of these is the flyover from Aramghar to Nehru Zoological Park. Once completed, this particular flyover will be the second longest in the city. Here are all of the other important details that you would need to know about the Aramghar-Zoo Park flyover.

Aramghar-Zoo Park Flyover: Length, Construction Cost And More

According to an article which was recently published by The New Indian Express or the TNIE, this particular project will stretch across 4.04 km. It is a bi-directional flyover which will have a total of six lanes, three for each direction.

If reports are to go by, the flyover is estimated to cost a whopping ₹636.8 crores. The flyover, which awaits inauguration now, is already almost complete. The plan for the flyover is to alleviate traffic congestion at six major junctions in the city.

These are Aramghar, Darul Uloom, Hassannagar, Kalapathar, Shastripuram, and Shivrampally. It is hoped that the project will soon be inaugurated, resulting in significant ease for motorists in Hyderabad.

Other Important Roadway Projects In The City Set To Ease Traffic

In addition to this major flyover, there are others that are also under construction. One of them is a flyover that connects Nalgonda crossroads and Santhoshnagar. This is also a bi-directional flyover that stretches across 3.38 kilometres. It has four lanes, two for each direction.

This bridge will ease traffic at Chanchalguda, IS Sadan, and at Saidabad.

Another project is the New Malakpet road under bridge or RuB. Once completed, this RuB will be 11 metres wide and 37 metres long. It will ease congestion for travellers coming from Dilsukhnagar and heading to Koti.
