Army Soldier Praises Indian Railways For Assistance

Colonel Rohit Dev shared a very sweet story on his Twitter handle, praising Indian Railways. The Subhedar in the tweet shared an incident that took place while he was travelling from Jabalpur to Delhi.

With lashing rains around, Rohit fell sick soon after he boarded his train. He could barely sleep as he had caught a cold and was coughing. He opened the Rail Madad App and reported his medical emergency. He was not very hopeful about any assistance from the app.

He tried to make himself comfortable and sleep inside the blanket. To his surprise, a doctor came to his berth to help him at the very next station. He checked on Rohit and gave him some medicines. Rohit mentioned that the medicines were free, while the doctor charged a minimal fee of ₹ 100 rupees.
