It was recently announced that Art Dubai is returning in March to the emirate. According to the information revealed by the Dubai Media Office, the 17th edition will give a platform to leading artists from the Middle East and the Global South. Not to mention, it will be taking place at Madinat Jumeirah Dubai and the preview will be available on February 28 and 29.

Art Dubai To Return In March

Art Dubai is returning to the emirate under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai and the Vice President and the Prime Minister of the UAE. With the previews to take place on February 28 and 29, this fair is coming back in March. Yes, it will be happening from March 1 to 3 and Art Dubai 2024 will be featuring expanded programmes of collaborations with both international and local partners. Not to mention, some of the major highlights include major new commissions and premiers by internationally renowned artists.

This Will Be The 17th Edition

Yes, talking about other highlights, the 17th edition of the global art form, which is also the flagship summit of art Dubai is curated by Shumon Basar and Nadine El-Khoury. As such, it will also explore the relationship between extreme change and extreme weather. Besides the new commissions, there will be several extensive talks that will feature modern and collected talks in collaboration with the Dubai collection.

The Full Line-Up Of Speakers Will Be Released In Early February

However, it’s worth noting that the full line-up of speakers will be released in early February. So, by presenting cultures, technologies, sciences, and initiatives based around extreme weather and change, attendees will be able to find some of the world’s most compelling artists, academics, curators, thinkers, and architects. As such, returning partner Piaget will debut a new exhibition called ‘The House of Gold’ at Art Dubai 2024.
