Ziro Will Be A 2-Day Event This Year

The event that typically happens in September every year, had to be postponed owing to the current situation. And while earlier the organisers were unsure if they could host the event this year, they have finally decided to go virtual. The organisers took to social media that the event will now be hosted virtually on November 21 and 22, thereby cutting the duration time of the festival by half. Ziro Festival – India’s Most Eco-Friendly Event

However this year, the organisers would be collaborating with the British Council of India, British Council Wales, and Wales Arts International to make the virtual event party possible. The event takes place on the vast expanse of lush greens in Arunachal’s Ziro Valley. It is typically a four-day event with independent live music. The festival was first hosted in 2012 and has witnessed notable artists like Steve Shelley, Divine, Indus Creed, Peter Cat Recording Co, Barmer Boys and Menwhopause, among others, performing.
