India’s favourite winter destination, Manali, woke up to fresh snowfall on Thursday. Bathed in snow, a white winter blanket covering the roads, tourists made the most of the chilly weather. Around three inches of fresh snowfall was welcomed by tourists and locals alike. Many Netizens took to X (formerly Twitter) to formally announce the arrival of the snowy vibes.
Manali Gets Bathed In Fresh Snowfall On Thursday
As per a report by The Tribune, with Manali receiving fresh snowfall, tourist vehicles were allowed up to Nehru Kund, where there was plenty of snow welcoming dwellers. Moreover, 4×4 vehicles were permitted to reach Solang Nala to catch scenic glimpses of the winter wonderland. Visitors had a gala time engaging in adventure activities in the snow. Some even removed their phones to take selfies with their loved ones and share reels and videos of the snowy mountains, snow-covered roads and more.

As the mercury dipped in Manali, the region blossomed after the snowfall. High-altitude regions were covered in snow while lower-altitude areas experienced heavy rainfall throughout the night on Thursday. Tourism stakeholders keep their fingers crossed, hoping the fresh snowfall in Manali will lure tourists.

Netizens flooded X with the most scenic photos and videos of Manali. Videos of vehicles covered in white snow traversing snow-covered roads, surrounded by pine glistening with snowflakes, are sights to behold!
Himachal Pradesh’s key winter destination attracts Indian and international tourists thanks to its snowy landscapes. Adventurous sports like skiing, horse riding, paragliding, mountain biking, snow scooter driving and snow tubing, especially in places like Solang Nala in Manali, add to the allure of the place. When it comes to orchardists, many are letting out a sigh of relief as snowfall helps the soil retain moisture. This, in turn, benefits apple orchards. Keylong in the Lahaul Valley welcomed 9 inches of snow, which to a large extent halted life there.
