Summers in the UAE are no joke. The weather truly becomes nearly unbearable during the day as the sun is shining bright and high. However, there are always a few people who are going out of their own way to make this heat bearable. And one such establishment happens to be Madurai Restaurant in Sharjah. Just like the previous year, they plan to offer free buttermilk to all this year as well.
Sharjah Restaurant Brings Back Free Buttermilk Initiative
Madurai Restaurant is a renowned name in Sharjah’s Abu Shagar. Known for serving South Indian dishes, this restaurant gained quite a lot of popularity with its noble cause the previous year. Yes, the good folks here are now bringing back the noble cause. Well, we are talking about the fact that they will be serving free buttermilk to anyone who walks in. This will be done every day between 11 AM and 3 PM, and this is the second time the popular initiative is being undertaken by them.

This Will Be Available To Anyone Who Walks In
With a massive positive response in 2024, they have decided to begin this noble service once again for the year. After all, a cold glass of buttermilk is exactly what a person needs to feel better on an unbearably hot summer day. For those who are unaware, this is a fermented dairy drink. Relished by not just the South Indians but people in different parts of the country, it is packed with electrolytes that help combat fatigue. As it happens, the folks here are inspired by other community efforts across the UAE, such as water coolers placed in public areas, as revealed by the Khaleej Times.
So, with the summer set to be more intense in the coming days, such efforts help people feel rejuvenated. And it also gives them the motivation to continue working hard even on the most difficult days.
