Recently Ashneer Grover, the former co-founder of BharatPe joined our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, for a great episode of the Sunday Brunch. He was very open about his journey as a start-up entrepreneur, his life goals and how everything is all bound to money. Check out this amazing episode to know more about his life.
Ashneer Grover Told Us About His Fave Places To Travel
We were having a very intellectual conversation about business and whatnot. It was now time to turn the wheel towards travel, a much-loved topic for Curly Tales. Kamiya started by asking how many countries were covered by Ashneer Grover. He replied or rather flexed, “I think last I counted was somewhere around 52 to 53 countries.” This was followed by the question, which was his favourite country to travel to? “U.K. is one of my favourites. In fact, London is one of my favourite cities.”
He prefers London because he told us that it is a great place to be when you are not thinking too much. Hmm, that’s an interesting take on why such a destination is your favourite to travel to. Do you also have a similar take for your go-to travel places? Ashneer Grover further continued that all the places he has been to have been pretty amazing. He told us that he has covered most of the beautiful places in France like Normandy and he found Italy fascinating as well and is a place that can be visited multiple times.
This Is What He Thinks Travel Does To The Mind
A man true to his words spilled some of his thoughts on travelling the world with us. Honestly, were open to collecting and listening to all of his golden thoughts and pieces of advice. Ashneer Grover shared one such thought, “I think travel opens up your mind.” He supported this thought by saying that he never really reads any books and has never been a bookworm.
We know you might have valid questions regarding this statement made by him because we had them as well. Is it along the lines of ‘Then how did he end up writing a book?’ It is safe to say that his man thinks ahead of time and ends up answering our doubts. Ashneer said, “I have written a book. I have written the highest-selling autobiography ever by the name of ‘Doglapan’ but I am probably the worst-read author.”
Through this clarification he solidifies the fact that it is better to know the real world and experience things as you go; in his case, it is through travel. Because life will always throw you with lemons and you should try to make a mojito this time! It’s been too long, we are turning it into lemonade, it’s time to twist things and see them from a different perspective.
