Ram Lalla Surya Tilak At Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir
The almost complete Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya was also magnificently decked with lights and flowers to celebrate Ram Navami. Adding a celestial touch to the festive ambience, the temple witnessed the Surya Tilak of Ram Lalla. This phenomenon occurs at the temple during which a ray of sunlight falls directly on the forehead of the idol of Ram Lalla at noon. It resembles a divine tilak offered by the Sun God himself. This event shows a beautiful blend of faith and science.
Temple priests performed an ‘Abhishek’ of Ram Lalla idol on Ram Navami. Also, special pujas were performed throughout the day to mark the occasion.
