As per an online bus-ticketing platform, AbhiBus, there has been a significant surge of Gen Zs travelling to Ayodhya amid the Ram Mandir inauguration wave. Lord Ram & Gen Z Connection: More Youngsters Travelling To Ayodhya
As per AbhiBus, there has been a massive 86% month-over-month increase in travel demand to Ayodhya. This figure is particularly interesting because a big chunk of these travellers includes Gen Z travellers. According to the online bus ticketing platform, this surge reflects a significant trend of youthful enthusiasm and spiritual inclination.
After the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, the number of devotees travelling to this pilgrim site has skyrocketed and the younger generation is a big part of this trend. This young population falls in the age bracket of 20-25 years and showcases a profound connection of Gen Zs with Lord Ram.
Similarly, ixigo also reported a more than 300% month-on-month increase in flight searches to and from Ayodhya, especially since the launch of the Ayodhya International Airport. Train travel searches also saw a 100% increase in month-on-month searches in January.

Cities That Emerged As The Highest Bus Travel Contributor To Ayodhya

As per AbhiBus, the highest bus travel demand to visit Ayodhya for darshan is currently coming from these cities. This is followed closely by Hyderabad and Mumbai as a high number of devotees from these cities are also booking buses to Ayodhya.
