During K-Pop star Eric Nam’s trip to Mumbai for the much-awaited Lollapalooza event, he met actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who took him on a Bharat darshan tour visa desi khaana. The K-Pop star and Badhaai Do actor had earlier met at the TIME 100 Impact Award in Singapore in 2023 where they hit it off. This time, Ayushmann Khurrana made Eric Nam sample an array of lip-smacking dishes from across India. Here’s what they ate.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Eric Nam shared a fun food video on their Instagram handles. The budding friendship between the two celebrities is here to stay and food is the glue. Ayushmann Khurrana promised to make Eric Nam travel India via food, that’s exactly what he did.
The stars first tucked into piping hot Kanda Bhajiya or onion fritters from West India. The K-Pop star excitedly ate the pakoras with his hands and even demanded spicy food during this food fiesta. Next on the platter were Chole, Amritsari Kulcha from the Northern belt. “Flavourful but also healthy”, commented Eric Nam. But Ayushmann laughed it out as the K-Pop star admitted that while it tastes healthy, he doesn’t know if it really is.

They Indulged In Hyderabadi Biryani, Rasmalai & More
But what excited the K-Pop star the most was biryani. “I love biryani, bring it on”, he excitedly told the servers. Ayushmann Khurrana and Eric Nam indulged in Hyderabadi Biryani with Raita. And the South Korean singer couldn’t have enough of it and even called it “aesthetically beautiful”.
For dessert, the duo tucked into Rasmalai from East India. With a wide smile on his face, Eric Nam demanded the India food tour to continue. In the caption, Ayushmann Khurrana even asked the K-Pop star if he is ready for a round 2. To this, Eric Nam said “anytime anywhere”. And also went on to invite the Dream Girl actor to Korea for a culinary journey.
