Bab Al Shams Desert Resort will reopen in April 2023 as the first hotel to bear Kerzner’s Rare Finds name. Following a thorough restoration, Bab Al Shams is now taking reservations from the parent company of One&Only Resorts and Atlantis, The Palm. An Exotic Stay In The Middle Of The Desert 

The new resort maintains its well-known name and focuses on food and drink options. Moreover, including a pan-Asian rooftop restaurant with views of the sun setting, the Desert Spa, and an elegant alcohol-free bar.

The new family-friendly facility emphasises experiences and entertainment, allowing visitors to stargaze with on-site astronomers. Kerzner will add a custom cigar room, and its posh non-alcoholic bar will offer an inventive menu of mocktails and beverages. They will add a new licenced bar to the existing Al Hadeerah restaurant.
