Barkha Singh Revealed Her Favourite Food Spots In South Bombay!

On this Tere Gully Mein episode, we went on a “trip down memory lane” with Barkha Singh.  The actress took us to her favourite haunts during her college days at the iconic St. Xavier’s College. She also revealed her favourite food spots in South Bombay and we’re taking notes!

Barkha Singh Revealed Her Fave SoBo Eateries

Barkha Singh began her career as a child actor. Later, she gave great performances in Maja Ma, The Sabarmati Report and MTV Girls On Top in her kitty. The actor candidly showed off her bargaining skills while street shopping, shared the funniest college stories and went food hopping with us. We asked Barkha to share her go-to spots in South Bombay.

The actress revealed them to be Bayview Cafe, Kyani & Co. and Bademiya for its Paneer Biryani. Barkha, who is a vegetarian by choice, revealed she enjoyed Bademiya’s Paneer Rolls and Paneer Biryani. Of course, we wondered how she was able to afford all these treats as a college student. She laughed and revealed that her indulgences were limited to special occasions.

Pax, Leopold Cafe & More

Barkha Singh sportingly took us to her favourite shops while thrift shopping in Colaba. She hilariously admitted that she isn’t good at bargaining and needed a friend to tag along. To relive her days as a young street shopper, Barkha took us to Pax and put her bargaining skills to the test. Her initial few shopping adventures ended in a bit of a disappointment. Barkha was determined to buy something cute.

From sunglasses to cute bags to summer tops, Barkha Singh scouted stores for a cute souvenir for the Tere Gully Mein episode with us. Of course, how could we let the diva leave without playing a few fun games with her? We played ‘This or That’ and ‘Never Have I Ever’ and then made a quick pit stop at the iconic Leopold Cafe. At the cafe, Barkha had refreshing sweet lime juice and a Mixed Sauce Veg Pasta.
