Barkha Singh went on a nostalgia trip with us by taking us on a leisure stroll around her favourite places in South Mumbai. Singh took us to her alma mater, St. Xavier’s College and then sportingly tried thrifting with us at the buzzing Colaba Causeway. Reflecting on her college days, Barkha Singh couldn’t resist making a pitstop at the iconic Leopold Café.
Barkha Singh Talks About Her Mandatory Order At Leopold Cafe
After negotiating with shopkeepers for the cutest sunglasses and summer clothes, Barkha Singh took us to Leopold Cafe. The actress revealed that the cafe keeps menus under the table to make it convenient for you to place your orders. Barkha revealed that she used to visit Leopold Cafe often for chilled beer. Her go-to order during her college days would be sizzlers paired with beer.
Now, she leans more towards lighter, healthier food. The actress craved for a chilled non-alcoholic drink after a long walk in the South Bombay humidity. She went for an orange juice devoid of sugar, masala and ice. For bites, they leaned towards Veg Mixed Sauce Pasta and Strawberry Cream. The old-school charm, the AC area providing much respite to tired Mumbaikars, are some of Barkha’s favourite things about the cafe. What stands out for her are the bullet marks still preserved, studded on the wall post the heartbreaking 26/11 terrorist attack in the city.
