Being a prominent IT hub of India, it comes as no surprise that Bengaluru airport is about to get its first robot. 

What Is It?

India’s Silicon Valley will be the first to provide a robotic assistance at their airport. Kempa, a humanoid robot is now on its final phase of development by start-up Sirena Technologies. Considering the technological advancements in Bengaluru city, the government was quite pleased to introduce robotic assistance for the passengers.

What Does It Do?

If you require assistance regarding check-ins, luggage drop offs, pick ups, navigating through the airport or simply entertainment until your flight is boarding, Kempa is here to the rescue! The robot will be able to communicate with passengers in English and Kannada and will be able to get through the airport without bumping into you.
