Bengaluru Is Gearing Up For Aero India 2023, But KIA To Remain Partially Closed For 10 Days. Deets Here!

If your itinerary is planned anywhere near Bengaluru airport, then this news will help you plan it better. The Kempegowda International Airport (KIA), also known as Bengaluru International Airport, has issued a notice stating a revised timetable for their working hours. Why? For those who don’t know, Bengaluru airport is a part of Aero India, an aviation exhibition. And, therefore, they have decided to partially close the airport for ten days, starting from 8th of February. Here is everything you need to know about the airport timings and Aero India 2023.

Bengaluru Airport Is Partially Closed

The Bengaluru Airport has posted a tweet on Twitter stating ‘partial closure of air space during Aero India’ for civil flights. They have also requested that passengers contact their respective airlines for more updates. They have mentioned that the air space will remain closed from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the 8th of February for rehearsal. However, on the 12th of February, the closure timings are only from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm for the same purpose. And on the next day, that is 13th Feb, there is going to be an Inauguration ceremony and air display from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

There will be air displays on the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th of February as well. However, on the 14th and 15th, the airport will be closed from 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm. And timings for the next two days are 9:30 am to 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Aero India 2023

Aero India 2023 is an aviation exhibition and air show to take place at the Yelahanka Air Force Station from the 13th to the 17th of February. This is a mega event and trade centre for investors from the defence and aerospace sectors. The aerial displays will be conducted by the Indian Air Force.
