The much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express between Bengaluru and Kerala will commence its journey on July 31, promising to significantly reduce travel time between the two destinations.

This high-speed train, known for its comfort and speed, will operate thrice a week, departing from Ernakulam Junction on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and from Bengaluru Cantonment on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Mondays. The journey, which currently takes anywhere between 10 to 12 hours, will be reduced to approximately nine hours, substantially saving passengers’ time.

The eight-coach Vande Bharat Express will make stops at key stations including Thrissur, Palakkad, Podannur, Tirupur, Erode, and Salem, catering to the needs of passengers along the route. The train will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 12:50 PM and arrive at Bengaluru Cantonment at 10:00 PM. In the reverse direction, it will leave Bengaluru Cantonment at 5:30 AM and reach Ernakulam Junction by 2:20 PM.
