Bengaluru is hosting the grand Republic Day Flower Show at Lalbagh. The Department of Horticulture is organising this beautiful flower show scheduled to happen from January 16 to 26. The 11-day-long event expects a footfall of around 8-10 lakh visitors. To continue smooth traffic movement and avoid any congestion, Bengaluru traffic police issued an advisory. Traffic Advisory Issued Due To Flower Show In Lalbagh, Bengaluru
Taking to X, Bengaluru Traffic Police shared necessary information about this new traffic advisory.

Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the limits of Wilson Garden traffic police station and nearby roads.
These are the parking areas:
- Dr. Marigowda Road: Al-Ameen College premises for two-wheelers.
- KH Road: Shantinagar BMTC Multi-Storied Parking Lot for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- Dr. Marigowda Road: Hopcoms Parking Lot for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
- JC Road: Corporation Parking Lot for two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
These locations are prohibited from parking:
- Dr. Marigowda Road: From Lalbagh Main Gate to NIMHANS on both sides.
- KH Road: From KH Circle to Shantinagar Junction on Double Road’s both sides.
- Lalbagh Road: From Subbaiah Circle to Lalbagh Main Gate on the road’s both sides.
- Siddaiah Road: From Urvashi Theater Junction to Wilson Garden 12th Cross on the road’s both sides.
- BTS Road: From BMTC Junction to the Post Office.
- Both sides of Krumbigal Road.
- Lalbagh West Gate to RV Teachers College.
- RV Teachers College to Ashoka Pillar.
Follow These Alternative Routes For Restricted Traffic Movement
- 10th Cross Dr. Marigowda Road: Vehicles from Dairy Circle to Lalbagh can make a right turn at the 10th Cross Junction and continue the journey by connecting to City Market, Majestic, Wilson Garden Main Road, and BMTC (KH) Road through the BTS Road.
- Urvashi Junction, Lalbagh Road: Vehicles travelling from Subbaiah Circle, City Market, Lalbagh, Jayanagar, Electronic City, and Hosur can continue straight and take a left turn at Urvashi Junction. Next, continue via Siddaiah Road to connect to Dr. Marigowda Road.
About pick up and drop off points:
- For vehicles from Lalbagh Road and Dr. Marigowda Road, the point is near the Lalbagh main gate.
- For vehicles from K.H Road and Dr. Marigowda, the point is Lalbagh East Gate (K.H Circle).
