Public transportation is affordable but can become inconvenient at times. From intense crowds to accessibility issues, commuters often face problems en route journeys. To control these and boost public transportation in Bengaluru, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike introduced a couple of bus routes. This launch is a part of Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation(BMTC). What is the main purpose of these new BMTC bus routes? Let’s find out!
BMTC New Routes Are Expected To Enhance Public Transportation
The department introduced these routes on July 5, according to a report by News18. The biggest priorities behind this decision are to enhance commuters’ experiences, provide improved accessibility, and also focus on offering convenient journeys to the people of Bengaluru.
BMTC is working relentlessly and introducing new initiatives to boost transportation, expand the networks and connections, and meet the regular commute and travel demands of commuters in the Karnataka capital. With the launch of new BMTC routes, the concerned departments hope to offer comfortable and organised public transportation facilities. Also, one of the goals is to provide reasonably priced transport services in the city.
It has been only a few days since the bus routes have come into action. It is only a matter of time to understand how passengers are making the best use of this initiative and if they can enjoy all the likely benefits of this grand introduction. Hopefully, this can help to bring more options for daily commuters and boost the service network of BMTC.
