Taking to his Threads handle, Shrinidhi M (@shrinidhim) shared a video of an auto driver using crypto apps. He described it as a “Peak Bengaluru moment.” He recorded the incident at the Vega City Mall signal on April 2, around 8 PM. The passenger was impressed by the driver of the other auto rickshaw multitasking at the signal. While they waited for the signal, he noticed the driver using his phone. The screen was split, with one side showing Uber/Ola for navigation and the other displaying crypto trading charts.
He also added that people often create invisible limits. Many believe only certain people can learn or trade in fields like crypto. Some think age or background decides what someone can do. But according to him, this driver broke those barriers and simply started learning.
He also spoke about how technology is changing access to knowledge. Today, tools and information are easily available to everyone. Because of this, more people can explore new skills without needing formal qualifications.
At the same time, he added a clear disclaimer. He said he does not support using mobile phones while driving. He also mentioned that trading can be risky.
