FASTag is a poll collection system operated by the National Highway Authority Of India. The system allows people to drive through the toll plaza without stopping for transactions. Though this has made travel less time-consuming, wallet security is an issue.

Toll Collection Frauds Taking Place

A Meerut-based engineer, Ijlal Ahmad Rizvi, got shocked to see a notification informing him about the money debited by FASTag. He stated that his car was in the garage for the past week. The money deduction notification that he received was from the Mathura Toll Plaza. However, he was quick to call and register a complaint on the toll-free number given by the National Highway Authority Of India. The Daurala Police Station is looking over this case.
