We are talking about the Ramadan competitions on social media that might end up being tricks by scammers who deceive users into sharing their personal and banking information. As revealed in a report by the Arab News, these scammers have already tricked victims into believing that they have won a cash prize. However, they ask them for payments and personal information in order to claim the reward. So, you might want to be careful, as it can lead to scammers tricking you out of precious Dirhams!

Steer Clear Of Fake Charity Links

There are several fake charity links that are also posing as legitimate organisations during the month of Ramadan. So, people have been asked to donate through the authorised organisation and legitimate channels only. It is important to stay vigilant against scammers while following all the necessary cyber security guidelines.
