IRCTC’s themed tourist trains are gaining popularity too fast! In fact, they have decided to start the ‘Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Ganga Sagar’. From May 25 to June 3, for nine nights and ten days, you will get to explore major pilgrimage sites in India! Read further to know what to expect on the Ganga Sagar train.
Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train Ganga Sagar
The tour includes destinations like Baidyanath Temple, Vishnupad Temple & local temples, Gaya, Jagannath Temple & Konark Temple, Puri Local Temples, Ganga Sagar, Kali Temple, Kolkata, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Varanasi and others.
The journey starts from Agra Cantt. — the source destination in addition to Gwalior, Virangana Laxmibai, Orai, Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya Cantt. and Banaras. Jasidih is the first place from where you will be taken to a hotel and get to visit Baidyanath Temple. The next stop is Gaya where you will visit Vishnupad Temple along with other local temples. Then, Puri is where you will get to visit Jagannath Temple and Konark Temple.
Kolkata is also covered in this tour from where you will proceed to Ganga Sagar and visit Kali Temple. In addition to this, you will get to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple of Varanasi, Ramjanbhoomi, Hanuman Ghari and various temples at Ayodhya and Saryu Aarti.
Inclusion & Terms & Conditions Of The Tour
The services are divided into three categories — economy, standard and comfort. In Economy, the train journey will be through sleeper class and accommodation will be in non-AC hotels. As for the Standard and Comfort categories, the train ride will be through 3AC and 2AC respectively.
Among the things that are not included in the package are charges for personal activities, costs for sightseeing and other activities not included in the package, tips, fuel surcharge, laundry expenses and other miscellaneous expenses.
Other than that, train tickets, accommodation, meals, night stays, travel insurance and tour escorts are included in the package. Besides, if you want to cancel your trip, they have an elaborate procedure.
