Bharat Gaurav’s Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra Begins Its 10-Day Journey Today In All Pomp & Glory!

To boost tourism, the Indian Railways introduced Bharat Gaurav trains, a themed-based tourist train. Moreover, they have a complete package with hotels, buses, meals and more included in it. Today, the Bharat Gaurav train “Mahakaleshwar sang Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra” took off for its first journey from Pune!

Today, the second Bharat Gaurav train was launched by the Ministry of Railways and left from the Pune railway station. It was a part of the “Dekho Apna Desh” and “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” programs. The train was “Mahakaleshwar sang Uttar Bharat Devbhoomi Yatra” and was supposed to cover Amritsar, Haridwar, Rishikesh and Mata Vaishno Devi. The Ministry of Railways shared pics of the glorious take-off of the train!

Under the slogan “Dekho Apna Desh,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi claims that Bharat Gaurav is being distributed throughout the nation. This service has taken place 29 times, with eight rounds coming from different states and four rounds coming from Union Territories.

This train will travel to Ujjain (Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar), Agra, Mathura, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Amritsar (Golden Temple and Wagah Border), and Vaishnodevi. Moreover, around 750 passengers were on board the train, which would complete the journey in 10 days.

Itinerary Of The Train

According to the IRCTC package, Haridwar is the first destination that will be covered by the train. Moreover, the passengers will get to attend Ganga aarti at Har-ki-Pauri. The following day, they will visit Maa Mansa Devi’s temple. In Rishikesh, they will also go to Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola.

They will arrive in Amritsar after leaving Haridwar. In the evening, they will go to see the Golden Temple, Jalianwala Baug, and Wagah Border. They will then proceed to the pristine Mata Vaishno Devi shrine after visiting their final location, SVDK (Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra).

The price of this journey started at ₹16,300 onwards. A travel guide will be provided to passengers at informed prices, and hotel accommodations will include meals aboard the train. Additionally, guests will be transported from the hotel to nearby destinations and the railway station.

The package includes all of the aforementioned amenities, so passengers don’t have to pay extra for them.
