Rahul Gandhi is currently undertaking the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. He abruptly had to pause the yatra in Varanasi. This was due to an urgent situation that came up in Wayanad and his presence was required there. Today, the yatra will resume from Anand Bhawan which is located in Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad). Here are all of the important details that you would need to know about the resumption of the Yatra.
Rahul Gandhi To Resume Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra From Prayagraj
According to an article which was recently published by the Deccan Chronicles, the abrupt halt in the yatra happened yesterday at Varanasi. In a post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), the Congress General Secretary, Jairam Ramesh, stated that the Yatra would resume at 3 PM.
From Anand Bhawan, which also happened to be the home of the Nehru Family, the yatra will proceed to Katra. After that, it will head to areas like Netram, Lakshmi Talkies, Teliarganj, Malaka and Soraon.
For today, the yatra will halt at Harisenganj in the evening. The night will be spent at Sakramau which is located in Mauaima. The following day, the yatra will enter into the district of Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh.
Other Important Details You Should Know About The Yatra
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra began on January 14, 2024. It began in the town of Thoubal which is located in Manipur. The Yatra is slated to end on March 20, 2024, in the financial capital of the country, Mumbai.
This political tour from the east of the country to its west is a sequel of the Bharat Jodo Yatra which Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi undertook last year. It is important to note, however, that Bharat Jodo Yatra was undertaken entirely on foot but this will not be the case for Nyay Yatra which will undertaken in hybrid mode.
