According to an article which was recently published by the Hindustan Times or HT, the claims were made by Sam Salehpour. He is an engineer who claims to have worked with Boeing for more than ten years. He claimed that owing to manufacturing flaws in the structure of the aircraft, it might break down mid-air.

Owing to the grave nature of these claims, the Federal Aviation Administration or the FAA has launched an investigation. The FAA is the air safety body of the United States of America or the US. As per Salehpour’s claims, the aircraft company introduced some changes in the manufacturing process.

He said that sections of the fuselage in the aircraft are not fastened together properly. This could lead to the aircraft falling apart mid-flight.
