Travel enthusiasts! You’d know that while Goa guarantees unlimited fun, it can take a toll on your wallet. Apart from flight tickets, you’d also have to shell out quite a bit on airport cabs. How much? Well, you may have to spend ₹1500 for a one-way airport transfer as cabs often charge more due to traffic conditions and tourist demands. In fact, taxis from parts of North Goa can even charge up to ₹1800 to ferry you to the airport. So, what’s the solution? Well, Goa has now started airport buses for just ₹200. Here’s everything about it.

Goa Electric Buses To Make Airport Transfers Cheaper

Forget spending a bomb on to-and-fro airport trips. Goa government has recently launched an electric bus service that you can ferry to popular parts of Goa and the airport too. This is an electric AC bus so it hardly makes any noise. It guarantees you a smooth, hassle-free journey. It takes you around 75 minutes to reach the airport from Calangute, with just one stop at Panjim bus depot.  However, do book the electric bus service a few days in advance and keep some time handy as the timings of the bus service may change without any prior notice.

How To Book Goa Airport Bus Tickets?

To book your Goa airport bus tickets. First, visit the KTCL website. Next, search for the nearest bus stop as per your location. Select the date of travel and bus accordingly. Add your personal details to book tickets and pay online. Make note that since the bus service is provided by RedBus. So, there is an extra charge of ₹10 taking the title total to  ₹210 for your journey. You will receive your tickets by email. You don’t need to print the ticket. Just show the screenshot to the bus conductor along with a valid government ID.
