You Can Soon Travel From Bengaluru To Hyderabad In 150 Minutes In This Semi High-Speed Train

Indian railways are launching different trains and initiatives to smoothen the train journey for passengers. Travelling on a train can get a bit difficult at times, especially when one needs to cover a long distance. And to ease this, Indian railways are working on connecting two Indian cities with a semi-high-speed train. Passengers can reach Hyderabad from Bengaluru in just 150 minutes, soon.

Reach Hyderabad From Bengaluru To In 150 Minutes

Both Hyderabad and Bengaluru are two of the busiest IT hubs in India. And now the railways are bringing these two states closer with advanced rail facilities. This semi-high-speed train is surely a unique initiative and will be very useful to commute. India InfraHub stated in a report that the new railway track between these two states is appropriate for trains to run at a speed of 200 km per hour. In fact, the travelling time on the semi-high-speed train from Bengaluru to Hyderabad will decrease to 150 minutes.

The Semi-High-Speed Train Project Will Be Massive!

The latest reports state that the project to build this train will be developed as a part of the PM Gati Shakti initiative. It is estimated that the development will cost about 30,000 crores. The semi-high-speed track will cover a distance of 503 km and will be constructed between Bengaluru’s Yelahanka Station and Hyderabad’s Secunderabad Station. In fact, there will be a fencing wall of 1.5m in height on both sides of the track for better safety. In fact, the report states that this fencing wall will help the semi-high-speed train to run at such a high speed.

In the current scenario, the trains take 10 hours to 11 hours to travel between Bengaluru and Hyderabad. And the new development will slash that travelling duration to as less as 2.5 hours.

Not only by rail connectivity, but these cities are also coming closer with road connectivity as well. Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari spoke about the Bengaluru-Chennai expressway in the Rajya Sabha recently. He shared that this road connection will reduce the travelling time to just 2 hours.
