You might have heard about residing at a unique bubble tent in Australia, staying at a futuristic hotel in China or even sleeping inside a wine barrel in Portugal. So how about going on a crazy winter adventure while the chilly season lasts? Don’t know where then let’s help you with an interesting suggestion! You can now build your own cosy snow cave and snuggle there with your loved ones. The 1,800-acre property Brasada Ranch in Oregon has teamed up with Wanderlust Tours to provide you with a customized winter experience known as Outside Brasada.
What’s In It?
Brasada Ranch and Wanderlust Tours will be hosting Snow Camp weekends which will feature snowshoe excursions and drinks around the fire and most of all the thrill of spending a cosy night in a snow cave. Each trip will take around the place over three nights from January 17th to 19th, February 14th to 16th and March 20th to 22nd. You can get the chance to explore the Deschutes National Forest of the Cascade Mountain Range, where you can build your own snow cave to spend the night in.
The three-night itineraries will kick off on Friday when guests will gather to prepare for an adventure and meet the guide at the Ranch House over some delicious homemade s’ mores. Then on Saturday, the itinerary would include heading out to Mt Bachelor with wearing snowshoes and overnight packs to explore the old-growth Hemlock forest. It would then include arriving at the camp spot, building individual snow caves. This would then follow with freshly prepared campfire cooked meal and local liberations. And if you’re up for some more winter adventures then you can even take a night snowshoes tour under the twinkling stars.

What’s More?
So that was about Friday and Saturday. Commence your Sunday with a hot campfire cooked breakfast, go on a quick snowshoe tour and then return back to Brasada Ranch for the final night of the snowcation. That’s what we call experiencing a snow cave to the fullest! However, if you wouldn’t be too comfortable residing in a snow cave, then you can rest at the resort itself and go on daily snowshoes tours through Mt. Bachelor and Deschutes National Forest. The best part is that each and every snowshoe tour from the resort can be customized based on your experience and preference. When you’re back, pamper yourself a warm cabin, luxurious spa experience at Spa Brasada, swim in the outdoor or indoor pool and gorge on scrumptious dinner at the Ranch House. You can have hot, s’ mores by the fire pit and enjoy the hot food with the backdrop of the cool weather. So are you ready to build your own snow cave this winter? Honeymooners!
