Sultan Al Neyadi completed his six-month-long space mission and has finally returned to the UAE. As the nation celebrates the return of this Emirati astronaut who created history, the GDRFA announced on Monday that they have introduced a special stamp to commemorate this momentous occasion.

UAE has been celebrating the return of the Emirati astronaut, Sultan Al Neyadi after he completed his six-month-long space mission where he stayed at the International Space Station. As a result, to celebrate the occasion, the Dubai Airport is welcoming passengers with a special stamp that celebrates this incredible feat. After he was given a hero’s welcome in the UAE on September 18, Monday, the General Directorate Of Residency and Foreign Affairs, took to its official account on X (formerly Twitter), to announce that they had introduced a special stamp for achieving this incredible success. With the phrase ‘Sultan Al Neyadi Homecoming’ along with the official name of the mission, which was Zayed Ambition, passports are going to be stamped at the Dubai Airport till September 19, which is today.

The Emirati Astronaut Returned To The UAE On September 18
This has been a massive reason for the UAE to celebrate as Sultan Al Neyadi created history when he became the first Arab to stay at the International Space Station for an extended period during which he conducted over 200 experiments. Not to mention, he also became the first Arab to partake in a spacewalk, which is a reason for immense pride for people. After spending 4,400 hours in space, this astronaut returned to Earth on September 4, in the Space X Dragon capsule. As he deboarded from the Al Ain aircraft in Abu Dhabi, he was received by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the president and vice president of the UAE.
The landmark achievement has been a massive source of inspiration for the youth in the UAE. Not to mention, several landmarks in the UAE, lit up in the owner of this Emirati astronaut as he returned to the nation.
