If you are a desi, you are no stranger to Atif Aslam. He is a renowned Pakistani singer who is famous for his melodic voice and soulful songs. From hit numbers like ‘Tera Hone Laga Hoon’ to ‘Jeene laga Hoon’, the singer is known for belting out some of the most popular songs. And recently, Curly Tales had a chance to exclusively interview this singer, as he was in Abu Dhabi for a concert. During the interview, he talked about many things, disclosing the story behind some of his numbers and more. Here’s how the conversation went!

Atif Aslam Talks About His Songs With Curly Tales

Atif Aslam recently talked about his songs, concert, favourite food and more with Curly Tales. On being asked about his songs and if they had a unique story that he keeps thinking about, he says all the songs have a unique story behind them.

While elaborating further, he says, “Everybody thinks that Aadat was just about heartbreak or something like that. It was about self-awareness: how you keep yourself and how you mould yourself according to the situation. Jalpari was about someone that I fell in love with.” Talking more about the fourth album, Subah Aye Na, which has just come out, he says that it is about self-exploration and faith in God

He Talked About His Favourite Food, Cheat Meals & More

During the interview, he talked about many things and mentioned how his songs are a reflection of his own life and journey. He mentioned how he himself has a very interesting and entertaining life that he doesn’t need to think about anything else. He even talked about his favourite food in Dubai, which is ‘Mandi,’ a popular rice and meat preparation and how his go-to food always remains dal-chawal, fattoush, and salmon.
