Growing up, many of us dream of one day giving our parents the life they always deserved. Seeing everything they do to give us a better life makes us want to do the same for them one day, and Raghav Juyal feels the same way. During Sunday Brunch, he told our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, that he is building a dream home in Dehradun and wants his parents to live like a king and queen.
Raghav Juyal Wants To Treat His Parents Like King & Queen
When Kamiya Jani asked Raghav Juyal if he was building a home in Dehradun as grand as Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat in Mumbai, he didn’t hesitate before saying yes. He revealed that the home is being built especially for his parents and his thought behind it left both Kamiya and Niharika NM in awe.
“Woh mere papa-mummy ke liye bana raha hoon. Unko har luxury deni hai mujhe life ki. They did so much for us. Kaise-kaise karke unhone hume pala hai, hamesha hume apne se aage rakha. Itni struggle karke hume sab diya—schooling and everything. Maine unki struggle dekhi hai. So, I want them to live like kings and queens, and I will do that,” he said with the conviction of a son who is already working hard enough to make it all happen.
His heartfelt words also reflected just how deeply he values his parents’ sacrifices and his determination to give them the life they have always deserved.

Why He Wants People To Travel To Indian Villages
Of course we had to talk to him about his love for travel and looks like, for Raghav Juyal, travelling through India’s villages isn’t about ticking off offbeat destinations. He believes it’s one of the few ways to step outside the comfort of your own world and understand how differently millions of people live.
According to him, spending time in villages strips away the bubble many people grow up in. Sitting with locals, listening to their stories, seeing their homes and witnessing the challenges they face every day offers a perspective that’s hard to find elsewhere. Those experiences, he says, make you look at the world with far more empathy and understanding.
Raghav believes travel has the power to transform people because it introduces them to lives and realities completely different from their own. Every conversation and every place adds a new perspective that stays with you long after the journey ends.
Drawing from history, he pointed out that many saints, philosophers and great thinkers spent their lives travelling, learning and observing the world around them. Their ideas, he says, were shaped by the people they met and the experiences they gathered along the way.
