On the latest episode of Power Hour, our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, met with the gorgeous and talented Jacqueline Fernandez. The episode started with a session of yoga, a lot of asanas, and Jacqueline shared a lot of fitness tips and tricks that she swears by. But that’s not all; we also indulged in some nutritious but extremely delicious dishes with her while getting to know about her life, her journey to practising yoga, and a lot more. Jacqueline Fernandez’s Go-To Breakfast Recipes
After a great session of yoga with Jacqueline Fernandez, it was finally time to indulge in breakfast. And the first dish that she introduced us to was her Power Pancakes, made with chocolate-flavoured protein powder, almond milk, and oats, and topped with sliced bananas and maple syrup for a hint of sweetness and cinnamon. Sure, it doesn’t sound that appetising, but one bite into it and Kamiya was living her dream life.
The second dish that she got us to try is a perfect breakfast option that is not just extremely nutritious but also wholesome and flavourful. It was her Chia Seed Pudding — chia seeds soaked in almond milk and topped with a variety of nuts and seeds, pomegranate seeds, coconut shavings, and some fruit like bananas. She believes that this breakfast not only keeps her full but also keeps her feeling light. It is packed with a lot of fibre and antioxidants.
Jacqueline Fernandez added that it is on very rare occasions that she gets to indulge in both of these breakfast dishes in one day. For her, it’s either the Protein Pancakes or the Chia Seed Pudding. We are definitely adding these two recipes to our must-try breakfast list.

The Superpower Of Bananas
The interesting part is that both of these meals included bananas, which clearly shows that Jacqueline Fernandez has a soft corner for them. Curious why? Well, because she knows something that most people don’t. Calling it nature’s own Botox, she revealed that she adds bananas to her breakfast dishes and then uses the peels to scrub her skin, which she truly believes has a tightening effect.
