Sharing a beautiful throwback photo from his childhood, he shared his experiences of breaking stereotypes globally. He wrote about how he found his family’s love to overcome all the obstacles to reach where he is today.
Taking to social media to share his thoughts and messages on self-belief, confidence, and family support, the Michelin-starred chef penned down a few anecdotes from his childhood and younger days. Witnessing such success and establishing his name in the entire world was not an easy journey and even he had to face some sour experiences in his school days.

One of his school teachers asked him not to smile with his ugly bunny teeth and this remark left a scar on him. He only smiled with sealed lips for many years. In another incident, the chef was suspended from his school for writing an original essay on Mother instead of just copy-pasting like other students.
In fact, kids laughed and mocked him just because he walked with his wooden shoes. The worst part is that some teachers even joined those kids and laughed instead of asking them to stop.
Cooking Instructors Advised Him To Stop Dreaming About Michelin Stars
Chef Vikas Khanna has taken India to such a remarkable position that people from his industry recognise the country for him. His contribution to representing India on a global level is unparalleled. All of these are possible today because he believed in himself and worked hard in the past. Unfortunately, many of his cooking instructors told him to stop dreaming about Michelin stars. Instead, they advised him to be a helper to Caucasian chefs. And now he is ruling the industry with Michelin star restaurants to his cap of achievements.
He shared his gratitude for his family’s love which helped him to ignore all such negative comments. His family members played a great impact in helping him to move on to build his empire.
