Recently, China witnessed a record-high temperature in the entire country, and reports state that such a scorching temperature is about to continue for a few more days as well. Here are all the deets about the intense temperature in this Asian country.

China Hits Its Record-High Temperature This Weekend!

It was on Sunday when this country had to face one of the highest temperatures this year. According to several reports, China reported a scorching temperature of 52.2°C on 16 July 2023. Such severe weather was reported in most parts of the country. Many populous cities are experiencing these worst heat waves with a spike in heat. These places are often seeing the temperature exceeding 40°C, making it a traumatising experience for people in China.

Before hitting 52.2°C on Sunday, the hottest day in the country recorded at 50.3°C, according to a report by Outlook India. The soaring heat waves are becoming a major concern and this insufferable weather is making it a major task for people to step outside and stay outdoors. Air raid shelters are being used in some cities to protect the people outdoors.

In fact, there are some rules and regulations implemented for people who need to work outside in these times of soaring heat.

Beijing Recorded The Hottest Days After Several Decades

Heatwaves are continuing in most parts of China but the northern cities are facing the most spikes in the temperature. Beijing is reportedly experiencing the worst side of the summer season this year. The capital of China recorded the temperature exceeding 35°C for 10 days. Reports state that this 10-day period is known as the longest duration of the heatwave and it has been recorded for the first time since the year 1961.

In between this nationwide soaring heat, the meteorological department predicted that this intense temperature will be experienced for the upcoming five days. These record-breaking heat waves around the world are becoming unendurable!
