CM Yogi Adityanath’s Chopper Makes Emergency Landing Minutes After Take-off Due To ‘Bird Hit’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath’s chopper had to make an emergency landing on Sunday morning in Varanasi after a bird hit. The incident occurred minutes after the Lucknow-bound chopper took off with CM Yogi. The district magistrate said that a bird hit CM Yogi’s chopper after it took off from Varanasi to Lucknow. As the chopper took at 9:10 am, within 9:16 am the pilot had to make an emergency landing.

CM Yogi In Varanasi, Visited Kashi Vishwanath Temple

CM Yogi was in Varanasi to hold a review meeting for the authorities as well as pay a visit to the magnificent Kashi Vishwanath temple. During the meeting, CM Yogi reviewed all the pending development projects and even inspected project progress at sites. He visited Varanasi for a night’s stay only. The Kashi Vishwanath temple was newly built and restored by the Modi-led government. From an area of 3000 square feet initially, the temple’s premises now spread across 5 lakh square feet. It can now accommodate a whopping number of 50,000-75,000 devotees at one time. CM Returns To Lucknow On State Plane

The chopper incident took place after it took off from Police line, following which the chief minister went back to Varanasi Circuit house. From there, he left for the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport by road. CM Yogi then took the state’s flight to reach Lucknow. In Lucknow, the CM was visiting late Suryabhan Singh’s residence to pay his homage to the former MLA in Sultanpur.

However, after the emergency landing and the following chaos, CM Yogi was delayed for over two hours.
